FULMINE WIND BIBTIGHT
TECHNICAL WINTER BIB-TIGHT.
The Fulmine uses three materials. The first is Nanoflex, which is designed to keep you dry and provide a water-repellent barrier, and so it is used on the front and
back of the legs.
The second is Thermoflex, designed to trap a layer of warm air next to the skin; and the third, SG0.6 wind fabric. This stretchy material is used around the knees, although in use, as any wind-resistant fabric I have found, there was still a small amount of bagginess around the knees.
The remainder of the tight fits snugly, making it not only comfortable but allows the materials to work and keep you warm. I’m not often a fan of pad inserts in tights, but Castelli’s AC pad, coupled with the good fit, makes a great combination. Giro++ ankle grippers fit well and complete what is a very good winter tight. Verdict 9/10
