Living in the US, I’ve had lots of issues with deliveries from Europe by other brands. Everything I order from CASTELLI comes from their US warehouse and takes no time at all to receive. Impeccable design and more importantly well made, I’m certain this jacket will last many years as has all my castelli cycling gear!
Good update from the original Alpha ROS jacket

I updated to this from the black original Alpha ROS jacket I have been using for several years to get: (a) red color for more visibility in the dim winter daylight, (b) the new Polartec material for the inner insulation, and (c) the various detail improvements. XL size for both, this newer vision seems slightly more "generously" sized than the original, perhaps just my impression. Disappointing that the red color is less bright than shown in the photo, not as eye-catching as the red in the Castelli scorpion logo or the Gabba2 long sleeve jersey I have had for a few years.

La estrené un día frio y con lluvia.... perfecto todo, sin sensación de frio en toda la ruta y bien protegido de la lluvia. Cuando la recibí pensé que una prenda tan ligera no me iba a proteger tanto del frío pero ha resultado ser la mejor chaqueta de invierno que tengo, no pasan ni el agua ni el frío y es fina y ligera.

C'est mon meilleur investissement en tant que produit habillement vélo, cette veste est extraordinaire, confortable et très efficace contre le froid en dessous de 5°C, car au dessus un peu chaude.
Par des températures négatives portée avec un sous-vêtement technique thermique (uniquement 2 couches, le sous-vêtement et la veste) je suis bien au chaud.

Llevo varias salidas este invierno y es perfecta para climas duros de frío y viento como el que tenemos en Burgos. Soporta las temperaturas que dice con bastante fiabilidad.
