PERFETTO RoS LONG SLEEVE

Castelli's best-selling jacket is also the ideal gravel jacket in cool and cold temperatures. It's the same Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve jacket but with a graphic that we think works well off-road. As part of our Unlimited line, it's perfectly at home on asphalt as well.

GORE-TEX Infinium™ WINDSTOPPER®

Gore-Tex® garments provide total wind protection and maximum breathability. The windproof membrane keeps you from getting cold due to windchill, but the optimum breathability prevents overheating and moisture accumulation by allowing sweat to escape easily. Water repellency is ensured by the DWR treatment applied to the outer fabric.

RoS - Rain or Shine

We’ve engineered RoS as the no-compromise best clothing we know how to make for dry conditions, and then tried to make it as close to waterproof as possible without sacrificing breathability and ventilation.

Rosso Corsa

Our Rosso Corsa label is only applied to the highest-level products we make. Every thread and fiber, every curve and contour is obsessed about. Rosso Corsa represents a categorical breakthrough in cycling innovation and the meticulous craftsmanship you expect from Castelli’s performance-enhancing apparel.

PERFETTO RoS LONG SLEEVE

With the growth of gravel riding, bike makers keep looking for the Quiver Killer: that perfect bike for every situation. The Quiver Killer jacket has been around for a couple of years: the Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve. It's the one jacket that does everything well. We initially designed it as a cool-weather training and extreme-weather race piece for our pro riders, but in reality it excels in many conditions thanks to its full wind protection, great fit through stretchy fabrics, and best-in-class breathability. It's the jacket we use for cold-weather gravel rides, so we thought why not give it a makeover with a new graphic print that looks the part? It's incredibly versatile: RoS in the name signifies Rain or Shine. The emphasis should be on dry-weather comfort, which is where this jacket really excels, but then you get near-waterproof protection if you do get caught in the rain. We worked with Gore to develop two new Castelli-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics. We use a light fleece-lined water-resistant version on the forward-facing surfaces and a lighter, stretchier fabric on the back that maintains the breathability of the previous fabric while improving water repellency at the same time. The Perfetto RoS is that ideal weight: no built-in insulation so you can layer it over a light base layer for moderate conditions, or you can add a thermal jersey underneath and take it to very cold conditions. You decide. The Perfetto family features are all there: excellent fit, easy-sliding YKK® zipper, long tail to protect from wheel spray, reflective panel on the back, and discreet styling that belies the jacket's racing pedigree. This is the one jacket that belongs in every cyclist's quiver.

Well made performer

09/03/2024

Originally bought the Perfetto ROS 2 Convertible and sized up to L (size chart 100cm chest) when mine is 95cm. The medium goes up to 96cm- but loads of reviews said to size up. The large was way too big all over. So, purchased an M in the original Perfetto, which apparently by design is tighter around the chest than the 2nd generation. However, it fits great, in fact it's still a little loose in the waist. I'm 84cm which according to the size guide M- is exactly what they recommend. I'm 179cm, 80KG. For Castllie leg warmers and bib tights I am large- mostly because my thighs are big, even though my waist and leg length could fit into M.
So, don't size up! I've used it twice so far at 4°C with a Core mesh 3 Castelli short sleeve base layer- Zone 3 HR was a little warm, but I do run hot. Wore it at 10°C no base layer and it dealt pretty well with heat regulation- I wouldn't use this in warmer weather than this. I am very familiar with the rear facing Gore Infinium 203 (Windstopper) fabric, looks and feels identical to my Gore Windstopper collection of cycling jerseys. The front facing Infinium is 205 and is very slightly brushed for warmth. I could easily use this jacket with a merino wool base layer into minus figures, guessing -5°C (like my other WS jersey/jackets), even though they recommend it at 4°C. Really like the thermal non-Infinium under the armpit; looks identical to the Nano Flex 3G on my bib tights. Don't mind the 2 rear pockets but would have preferred the 3 on the ROS 2. Little suspicious of why they didn't use YKK zips on the side 2 zips- 'MyZip' is apparently a premium Italian zip manufacturer- so I am guessing Castllie know what they are doing rather than skimping on saving pennies. Although I bought the Perfetto 2 Convertible in Electric Lime, I got a deal on the Perfetto Military Green; I like to be seen on the road, but I love the Military Green over the Electric Lime. I have a bright orange helmet and run powerful lights in the day time- even summer, so that counteracts the camo!

Top quality and amazing protection from the wind.

17/10/2023

Tried today for the first time. I underestimated how cold the wind was on my road ride but the protection offered by this jacket saved me from being cold. Very breathable apart from one area where it touched my body.

La Giacca è molto Elegante la utilizzo prevalentemente con una bici Gravel, la ritengo molto Pratica, Leggera e resistente al vento;
nelle giornate fredde e umide non ho avuto alcun problema, anche con pioggia leggera sono rimasto sempre completamente asciutto.

Same review as I wrote for my Aplha Ultimate jacket.
Absolutely perfect masterpiece! Keeps you warm and dry from 5-10 degrees as long you are constantly riding of cause. Love it. Also the design is great.
Dont buy too small. I am 1,78, 83 KG, muscular, bought XL, its almost too tight.
