A great piece for tempo rides in varying conditions.

I like the versatility of this jacket. The two way zipper is key as are the side zippered air flow areas. Adding insulated base layers and a vest make it a great winter option for a tempo (mid speed for me) ride. I like the fit, however, many Castelli pieces have sleeves that are much longer than you would expect for the sizing. I have a good 3 inches of extra fabric on my size medium. This jacket is a go to pick for most rides.

Very pleased with the jacket although did struggle with the sizing. I am normally an XS but the size chart and fitting recommendations said I should wear a S. The small was too long and too baggy. I wore the XS on a colder day (5 degrees Celsius) with one thin merino wool layer and I was warm for the whole ride. I love the jacket because the two way zipper allows for extra ventilation when you get warm. The jacket also looks great, is light weight and has good sized pockets in the back, something my other riding jacket didn’t have.
