The Castelli collection meets every need with its range of protective jackets designed to effectively handle emergency situations. Don't be afraid to go out in bad weather, be brave, wear one of our protections and you'll be safe until you return home!
If you need a jacket that provides protection exclusively from the wind, we recommend our Aria Shell Jacket (woman: Aria Shell W Jacket) or Squadra Stretch Jacket (woman: Squadra Stretch W Jacket). These are two very form-fitting garments, which are also extremely breathable, lightweight, and packable. They are perfect for mild days with temperatures between 10°C and 18°C, and while they may offer decent coverage in light drizzle, they are not designed to be full rain jackets.
If you need complete protection from wind and water, we offer a wide range. Thanks to the highly advanced fabrics used, our Tempesta Lite Jacket (woman: Tempesta Lite W Jacket), Emergency 2 Rain Jacket (woman: Emergency 2 W Rain Jacket), and Gavia Lite Jacket are reliable when it comes to heavy rain combined with strong winds. While these jackets may be less breathable and lighter compared to windproof-only jackets, they offer superior thermal insulation. They are designed for cool to cold weather conditions, and some can even be used in temperatures just above freezing. Not to be overlooked are the new Squall Shell Jacket (woman: Squall Shell W Jacket) and Ultra Rain Cape, true shells that, unlike the aforementioned rain jackets, are also extremely lightweight. Additionally, like the Aria Shell Jacket and the Squadra Stretch Jacket, all these protections are so packable that they can be easily stored in the pockets of the jersey or jacket when not needed.
And for pros or for those who don't want to compromise on speed and aerodynamics? Well, in these cases the solution is simple: the Gabba R. It's a short-sleeved jacket that can fully protect you from rain and wind while simultaneously offering extraordinary performance, ensuring you don't sacrifice a single watt while you're riding. Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM is a weather-resistant, breathable, and stretchy fabric designed for high-intensity activities such as cycling and running. Products made with this fabric, like our Ultra Rain Cape, provide complete protection against water and wind, and are made from 100% recycled polyester to minimize environmental impact. With a strong focus on durability, comfort, and sustainability, this technology uses PFAS-free materials.
