I prefer long bike rides in remote places, I drink a lot of water, and I prefer simplicity. I will avoid bags on my bike or back if at all possible, overstuffing my jersey pockets to maximum capacity every time, so I was excited to try out this jersey with a pocket for a hydration bladder. I was worried it would feel heavy or pull on my neck in the front. My worries were unwarranted. It worked beautifully and several people at the gravel race asked about it while racing. The bladder I used was a 1.5 litre Osprey Hydraulics LT. For 45 miles of sometime bumpy gravel, it never felt bulky or heavy, and it didn't sag. I stayed well hydrated and didn't have to take time to refill water bottles at any aid stations. I paired this jersey with the Velocissima dt Bibtight in Nightshade and it looked great! It would go with so many of the Castelli colored bottoms, as well as the ever classy Black. Happy Riding!
