Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt and Taylor Knibb (USA) with dominating performances to claim IM 70.3 World Championships titles.
This year's half distance championship races guaranteed two thrilling competitions and victories for the favorites.
However, the fights for the podium spots were very tough in both races.
In the women's race Paula Findlay had to concede defeat only to Taylor Knibb.
Castelli male athletes Frederic Funk and Miki Taagholt finished their final race of the year in 5th and 6th place.

TWO COLD DAYS OF RACING
With air temperatures below 8°C on both days on the bike and water temperatures around 16°C, athletes had to be creative to stay (relatively) warm.
